If the question was how much money was raised at the Higgs & Sons Charity Quiz last night, then the correct answer is over £5000!

The event which has become a highlight in the Higgs' calendar, was held in support of the law firm's charity of the year, the Alzheimer's Society.

The quiz saw 51 teams made up of Higgs' clients, partners and staff gather at the WV1 restaurant at Molineux stadium to test their general knowledge and enjoy a meal whilst overlooking the Wolves pitch.

Higgs & Sons' head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Tim Jones said:  "This event just goes from strength to strength.

"It was fantastic to see so many friends and colleague having a great time whilst raising money for this fantastic cause in the process. Many thanks to John, Clare, Sarah and the rest of the team, especially our trainees who worked so hard to help make the evening such a success."

Ray Nash from the Alzheimer's Society commented:

"We are extremely grateful to Higgs & Sons and all those who so generously took part in the Annual Charity Quiz.

Alzheimer's Society rely heavily on the kind and generous support and donations made by companies such as Higgs and Sons. The proceeds from this great quiz night will help us continue our fight against dementia and provide support to those living with dementia and their carers."

Each year Higgs & Sons' CSR programme supports a range of projects on behalf if its chosen charity of the year. Last year's total of £15,000 raised on behalf of the Prince's Trust was a record for the Midlands based law firm. This year the firm is well on the way to matching that total for the Alzheimer's Society.
